Jamie Sabatino

LMFTA

Licensed Marriage family therapist

My desire is to help families, couples, and individuals work towards their own identified goals for treatment. I believe in using an individualized, all-encompassing approach to therapy; exploring both the external and internal parts of the intricate human experience and relationships. I work from the belief that all people have an inherent desire and longing to be understood by others and to fully understand their own behaviors and thoughts in order to change, learn, and grow in ways that fulfill their relationships and relationship to self. I enjoy using experiential techniques in the therapy room and using the therapeutic relationship as a model to promote healthy and trusting relationships outside of the therapy room. I have experience in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, and relationship issues. I feel all people seeking therapy have within them the strength and courage needed that make up an integral part of the healing process.
